Hi! My name is Dan Tearle and this is my work! It's all just for fun as I am not a professional musician but just enjoy making songs, I hope you'll maybe give me a listen and maybe, you just might like what I do!
Why this name?
I'm working on my own so I decided just to use my name, as that's me.
Do you play live?
I've never played live and have no intention of playing live, I'm just not good enough!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet and MP3's are such a good thing for music as it gives people like me a chance to share my rubbish with the rest of the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Oh yes, I'd love to be even a one hit wonder!
Band History:
I have been making music for many years and seriously for the last couple, I love to experiment and make silly sounds on my synthesizers!
Your influences?
My main influence is Jean-Michel Jarre, although I am also influenced by Tangerine Dream, Air, Mike Oldfield, Depeche Mode, my family and Zippy from rainbow.
Favorite spot?
My favourite place in the world is Margate, Kent as I grew up there.
Equipment used:
Roland JP8000, Yamaha CS1x, Yamaha AN200, Smallstone Phaser pedal and various softsynths.
Anything else...?
It's all a bit of fun, and that's all it'll ever be...
