La Banda (The Band) was formed in late 2004. We are four guys from Guatemala, Central America that play alternative rock and want to spread the word and sounds!
Why this name?
We chose this bandname because we lacked a better one and couldn't come up with something creative.
Do you play live?
We've do perform live, and we like it a lot.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
MP3 and the internet are great ways to spread your music and sound. It also facilitates the distribution of music; CDs will dissappear soon!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Well, I guess we would if we were given the oportunity. Although going independent would be interesting.
