indie/alternative in spanish, contradictions, sometimes alienated, sometimes ethereal, sometimes just songs
local press says it's for those who love musical textures and poetic lyrics

Daedro has been an under band, innovative, with few concerts in local scene, lights and videos kinda neo psychodelic

it's been on the radio in programs dedicated to under music, in stations in USA, Argentina, Mexico and Spain; in 1999, was third place rock in spanish for all Latin America and Spain in former www.mp3.com

made three records, Pasajero (Passenger 1999) kinda tripy, La Trampa del Mono (Monkey's Trap 2002) kinda depressing, and Hoja de Te (Tealef 2004) kinda poetic

Tealeaf is lo fi right now, but wanted to include it anyway because you never know..

Passenger it's about my feelings of alienation and loneliness set off by airports and hundreds and hundreds of corridors and waiting rooms

also has to do with trips i had with my friends at the mexican desert -Real de Catorce- and in the woods i lived in Guatemala, there i discovered Pink Floyd and psychodelic music

as with everything else at the time, now i think maybe i got too much of it

Monkey's Trap was written in total clinical depression, honestly i thought was last record, last everything

at that point had long periodical meetings with tequila and artist friends, discussed about everything, always so down, we watched american indie films, Lynch, Jarmusch and such, listened a little bit of industrial and trip hop, nothing mattered, anyway

Tealeaf.. well, it's too soon to talk about it, but i think is not some kind of conciliation after surviving, it's more like the beginning of a TRANSITION
