I just like to hang out with my buddies and record cover songs. I used to be in a few original rock bands in N.J., nothing big. It never went anywhere. There were always member or musical issues that broke up the bands.
So here I am in my 40's still spankin' the plank, (as Billy Gibbons would say).
I would love to hook up with someone who can sing, write, and play keyboards in Northern N.J. I have a lot of musical ideas, can sing and play pretty good, but am not interested in lyric writing. I have a small recording studio basement setup that is very nice.
I enjoy playing guitar with a heavy George Lynch type tone, but also enjoy playing clean and acoustic sounds as well. I am decent at lead vocals, and know how to harmonize.
My 2 buddies are pretty good musicians. One can play the drums, guitar and bass, and the other plays guitar and bass also. Unfortunately for me, nobody else really sings. So the only thing missing is another voice, someone who writes cool lyrics, and a little keyboards here and there.
We get along great, and if we were to get something together, we would consider playing out here and there.
