A Wake For Daedalus will f*** you up. And you will like it.
Why this name?
We bought it on ebay.
Do you play live?
A Wake For Daedalus plays live whenever and wherever possible. Bars and basements are the most common venues, but they are open to other possibilities such as weddings, bar mitzvahs, and funerals
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
On the one hand, it exposes people to little-known but brilliant artists they may otherwise have missed. On the other hand, well, just google "Avril Lavigne" and see what happens.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, but only if the band members are not required to cut their hair.
Band History:
The members of A Wake For Daedalus met at a Star Trek convention in the mid-1980's. They were originally known as Nightbeast, enjoying a brief but ultimately self-destructive stint as local heroes of soul-shattering rock. Now they're back. They are: Johnny O'Neal - bass, Gabriel Von Carpenter - guitar and cowbell, Dave - drums and beer.
These stalwart lads have braved many a genre, only to break them all with their sonic power.
These days, they are branching out into cutting-edge sound such as "Quilting Rock", "Eastern Bloc Rock", and "Your Mum".
