I have performed live as a rap artist, and yes I loved it! It was cool to run the gambit from butterfly nerves to having the crowd straight up diggin what I was spitin.

It changes it for the better. Before it was incredibly hard to get your music heard by the masses, because in the industry it's all about WHO you know, not so much about talent...at least not anymore. Now you can stay independent and have major labels breaking their necks to get you to sign some kind of deal, whether it's a artist development deal or distribution. You stay true to what you do.

It depends on who comes out on top, me or them. Of course it's gotta be me. But, also whether or not I will still have the freedom to make the kind of music that I want to make, and not become a slave like so many other artist/producers.
