Mary Gold rock, but it's also about the lyrics and a nice melody that will stay in your head.
Why this name?
Let your mind flow guys! Listen to the music and you'll know.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Positively, because it's easier to get recognized on a small scale. However, it means that even a simple demo has to be high quality, it means that once you have a record deal, not that many people are willing to pay for your music any more. On a bigger scale, it is now even more important for the execs to sign artists that will be able to sell big time!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Most certainly if it was a good deal. After all, we love playing our music and would be happy if that would be our main source of income, meaning no more waiting tables, teaching, kitchen work etc.!
Band History:
Two of us started playing music together years ago. We wrote songs, acoustic, and tried to find people who would make that sound complete.
We knew what we were looking for, but we didn't find it until the handsome Jan appeared on a sunny day with bass strapped on. Shortly thereafter, there was a conversation on the subway line between the ambitious singer and someone, who turned out to be a bad-ass drummer.
Bam!

Your influences?
Bach, Mozart, Elvis, Incubus, Pantera, hiphop... You are what you listen to. All of us come from completely different (musical) backgrounds. Craig plays hard riffs, Jan a melodic, sometimes funky bass, Lukas' drum beats have a lot of fills and a kind of drum'n bass beat to them, and Margit combines her high and clear voice with fast and hard lyrics.
It's the mixture of all of that that makes our sound unique without being overload.

Favorite spot?
New York City, Berlin, Vienna, or a quiet mountain top, it depends on the mood.
Anything else...?
