Often. I play equal parts night clubs, churches, upscale retirement communities, and public access TV.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has created a communication revolution impossible to imagine not so long ago. It's surreal though, to see the return of the 99-cent 45rpm single recur as a 99-cent MP3/Itune. Need we say deja vu all over again?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
In a heartbeat.

Paul Simon, Billy Joel, Harry Chapin, James Taylor, Paul Stookey, Jim Croce.
Favorite spot?
Wherever there are good people and a magnificent lake, like here Duluth, MN, or Chicago where I grew up.

Sonar software, Studio Project and MXL mics, etc. The gear that's affordable for the average guy is these days remarkable.
