the exertion project is currently comprised of bart hodges and eric krehbiel. together, they're forming a fusion-powered style of music, bringing together a bizarre range of stylistic influences from classical music to techno, to psychedelic, and at times a quite noticeable jazz influence.
Why this name?
exertion is like a force, applying force, ... to me, it means to give it everything you have, even if that means giving up your last drop of life.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
well, it gives everyone a chance to hear even the most radical of musical styles from people around the world. music available over the internet has the potential to be a major cornerstone of societies around the world, providing a medium in which a universal language is spoken; music, that is.
