Flow. Lyrics. Style. Reality. RIGHT HERE.
Why this name?
It was given to me a long time ago, and when I got into rap seriously, it stuck. How'd I get it? Livin' that street life.....
Do you play live?
I "play" anywhere there's a mic. Do I like it? Hell yeah. Any special moments? EVERY time I touch the mic
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It can be a good thing for promotional purposes, since so many people turn to the Internet for music, but it can be a bad thing when artists get robbed of their royalties.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on the contract, but yeah, probably.
Band History:
I've been rapping for about 11 years now, but didn't start seriously making music until 2001, when I met Jarvon Holmes AKA Pure Fire, my executive producer and the other half of the team we formed, the RapCityRidaz. I got started after learning the words to Bone Thug's "Thuggish Ruggish Bone" in '94 and rapping the song at a party when I was still a kid. Cats were feelin' it, so I decided to try rapping on my own, and here I am.
Your influences?
Midwestern artists like Krayzie Bone, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Tech N9ne, Crucial Conflict, ect.
Favorite spot?
The studio.
Anything else...?
If you like that run-of-the-mill candy rap you hear on MTV, then bounce out now. Nothing but the real here..........
