We're the Frontenacs. We survive Central Wisconsin's flat, windswept landscape to produce some dirty power-pop/punk tunes. Whatever you want to label it...give us a listen and see if your leg starts shaking.
Why this name?
Lack of anything better.
Do you play live?
We play live as much as possible, mostly in Central Wisconsin. We love getting to put on live shows...every moment on stage is special.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's really widened the scope of overall availability. Bands that previously would've never been heard can now be heard all over. Like us...now someone in Japan could check us out without leaving their home. Amazing.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Most definitely. We want to play music- bottom line. Whatever allows us to do that, whether it's 100% DIY or a huge recording deal...we're ok with it.

Our influences span across the board...punk rock, rock and roll, power-pop....bands like D4, the Lawrence Arms, the Poonanies, GNR, the Misfits, Social D...you get the picture.
