| As I'm a solo artist -- often making heavy use of computer technology to overdub many parts together -- this just wouldn't be practically possible. |
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
| The question asks about the music industry but this is the very change that the internet and MP3 have begun to make. It is now possible to reach an audience without the machinations of an industry. The internet has rendered the word "industry" in the question redundent. That's the effect it has had. |
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
| Depends what's written in it. Obviously. |

| A plain and not particularly impressive PC, running mostly free software and lots of patience to make it work. Somehow. |
