Why this name?
Excellent question.
Do you play live?

I play out occasionally with cover bands but am currently working on getting the next album recorded and performing my music live. It's coming along very well. More info at my site

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I'm sure I wouldn't have sold records to people in Singapore without it! Kissing people's asses isn't a requirement to get your music to the people anymore.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only if they would buy my Mom a new house.
Band History:

Bongo and I have been playing together off and on for over 30 years. But all of our fingers and limbs still work pretty good. Most of my contemporaries and former members are trimming hedges and in some cases helping raise grandchildren now. I like to trim hedges and love my Grandchildren but I also still like to pick up my guitar and throw down a little. I think it will always be that way.

We opened for Robin Trower in 93 here in Indy. He signed Bongo's copy of "Bridge Of Sighs" but more importantly, he called me a mate. It was the first time I'd ever heard the word aimed in my direction when I wasn't in a chess game. I'd just been published world wide in Guitar Magazine but still had to tap dance and juggle for the guy at The Vogue in Indianapolis to get the gig.

After that show I retired the band from the local scene because there was no place for this kind music within the local politics. The internet bypasses all that and there?s nothing they can do to stop it. The media can?t spoon feed you here and tell you what to like. It?s all up to you!

Thanks for coming and I hope you enjoy the music.

"The ad on his flyer asks, "Is it rock? Jazz? Blues?" You decide--really, you
don't have to do anything but enjoy. The music is familiar along the lines of
his influences but absolutely fresh and new-sounding. Well balanced playing
finds "Lo" Woods streaking, walking slowly, or skipping across the fretboards at
will and when called for. A complete guitarist!"
