Not a band, just a bedroom guitarist without the guts to stand up and do it in front of others...but then came the internet....
Why this name?
A line from a Be-Bop Deluxe song called Forbidden Lovers (Modern Music) 'An angel tide on a demon shore...'. My imaginary band!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
An opportunity to make what you do available. This gives some motivation for trying to do it a bit better. We no longer have to listen to music chosen as suitable for us by the industry. Also we can compare the stuff we do with others who have roughly the same time and resources to devote and judge our efforts on a level playing field.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only if they really begged...
Your influences?
Bill Nelson, Eno, Bram Bos (author of The Tuareg, a great softsynth), Jimmy Page, Frank Zappa and any other interesting guitarists.
Favorite spot?
I'm too old to have spots.
Equipment used:
Magix MusicStudio software, The Tuareg softsynth, Ambiloop software, Soundblaster Live, General Music CD-20 Keyboard, Digitonix element drumsynth, Hotstepper drum synth, Johnson J-Station amp simulator for guitars, Antoria Les Paul (ancient guitar) Peavey Millenium Bass, Jasmine Takamine Electro-acoustic guitar, any freeware I can get my mean mits on.
