Welcome, we are RETARD. We take great pleasure in distorting the conventions of guitar rock. We like to churn out riffs and blend them in to exciting and interesting tracks. All this is topped off by sincere and unconventional lyrics.
Why this name?
I don't know how the name came up. It is meant to represent the different and reverse way we go about making our music. It was decided on in The Ring O' Bells pub in Christleton.
Do you play live?
We have played gigs all over the North West but are concentrating on making decent recordings and extending our repetoire.
If you make it big..?
We will all buy fast cars, big houses and shag lots of models.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet makes it easy for all the good unsigned bands to get good exposure and feedback from the listening public. The listener get a much larger spectrum to choose from. We all know the for every one signed bands, there are at least ten unsigned bands more original. It is a have for bands thet want to do thier own thing, not what some fat bastard says.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If we were allowed to do the music we wanted.

The band was formed 3 years ago and has gone from strength to strength.

From Techno to thrash. Iron Maiden, The Fall, Leftfield, Slayer.......
