Mesmeriah is a long-distance collaborative project by Steve Wood and Kim Brunner. Steve resides in Florida, Kim in Minnesota.
Why this name?
Mesmeriah is a twist on the word, mesmerize. Steve's idea, Kim loved it.
Do you play live?
Mesmeriah does not play live because of it's members being miles apart. Both have played live in bands in the past.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Mesmeriah wouldn't exist if not for the Internet.
Band History:
Steve and Kim first came in contact when Steve was putting together "Dog Dreams," a fundraiser CD for animal rescue. They both had music at Mp3.com at that time, and he asked Kim to contribute a song for his project. After that, it wasn't long before they began collaborating, writing and recording songs long-distance.
