The music I make is very dark. It is mixed between genres of rap, rock, and electronic mostly.
Why this name?
Well, I thought of myself living in my own fantasy world...almost having a "fake" mind. Then I thought of my mind being a mimic (or an imitation) of a mind. So then I came up with Mimic of a Mind.
Do you play live?
Not much at all.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If I got the chance, you better believe I would.
Band History:
All my life, I have been intrigued by music. The first group that I really got into was Ace of Base, I remember. There was something about their unique sound that just stood out to me. And that, I believe, is the key to being successful as an artist.

My influences nowadays range from Insane Clown Posse and Twiztid, to Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson, and even to Weezer. As you can tell when you listen to some tracks, I have the dark rap vibe going for a while, then it morphs more into hard rock for a chorus. Some tracks are just a lot quieter and more light-hearted, giving it a more "Weezer-ish" feel. I don’t believe that I sound like either one, but I do look up to all of those artists I just listed. They inspire me to remain myself when it comes to music and stay unique.

My story is very deep and I don’t care to go into detail very much. In a nutshell, I have always been looked down on, and I believe that many people have thought of me as a joke, as I was growing up. I got picked on, teased, ridiculed…etc. Maybe one of the raging fires in my music stems back to those days and a little part of me wants to blow up and be successful so that I can laugh at everyone’s face who doubted me in the past. But that’s only a small fraction. My main motive for making the art that I do is just my passion for raw, musical expression.
