ContraTempus is a metal band blending some classical thrash, nu-metal, hardcore, prog and industrial tunes into a good heavy metal mix.

Why this name?
ContraTempus comes from Latin meaning 'against the time', but lots of modern translations in Spanish and Portuguese also mean 'accident' or 'bad coincidence'. It is unique if nothing else ... o:)
Band History:
The first ContraTempus formed when K and B were on their gap year in London and met three other talented musicians in summer 2004. However this group had soon fallen apart and K&B joined together with Dave who felt like making some heavy noise. But, it wasn't until February 2005 when they got together with El on drums and Phil on lead guitar. From then on it is about solid practises, composition of new songs and playing live.
