Welcome to my Soundclick Page. Click the "music" link at the top of the page to hear my music. Feel free to contact me through my e mail adress. I hope you enjoy my playing, and I look forward to hearing from you!!!

Why this name?
"The George Man" is the name given to me by the Chicago rock band Radakka when I was guest DJ'ing at a local heavy metal radio station. The name has stuck with me for over 15 years now.
Do you play live?
If you mean blazingly loud with the windows open in the house, I've been known to attract a few fans, mostly the cops!!! I have been caught on stage playing during soundcheck for a couple of guitar players, and a few times I have lit up the local Guitar Center stores.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet made it impossible to make any money playing music. People need to still go to live shows though...........
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only if I were given creativity rights and it payed well enough, although I don't play for money, I play for me!
Band History:
I have been playing guitar for over 20 years now. I was self taught, and took very few lessons until I went to an applied guitar class at the local JR college. I then visited Musicians Institute for a week, and went on to take lessons from a few really good local guitarists. I mostly learned from jamming with other people though. Been in a couple bands, but nothing ever worked out.
Your influences?
Paul Gilbert, George Lynch, Randy Rhoads, Van Halen, Yngwie, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Vinnie Moore, and pretty much every guitarist I have ever heard
Favorite spot?
I'd like to be chasing tornadoes in Oklahoma or Texas or at RT 66 Raceway watching the Drag Races.
Equipment used:
Ibanez Guitars, Marshall JCM 800 Head and 2 Marshall 4 x 12 cabinets. I don't any effects, just a Boosta Grande, and a TS9 Tube Screamer.
Anything else...?
Feel free to e mail me with your comments, and thanks for checking out my page. C-ya!
