Inflatable Boy is a one man music project created out of the ashes of the band Somewhere Angels Mourn. Inflatable Boy plays whatever type of music that occurs during recording...
Why this name?
It just seemed like the right name.
Do you play live?
It's tough to play 3 instruments and sing at the same time.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is the greatest thing to happen to music since the electric guitar. It's definitely given the independent artist a leg up.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, I'm only in it for the money anyway!
Band History:
The past is behind me.
Your influences?
I love, and am inspired by, all kinds of music. I suppose my strongest influences are Stereophonics, Mansun, Slowdive, Patrick O'Hearn, & Rufus Wainwright. Whether or not those things come across in my music, I don't know.
Equipment used:
Fender 6 string acoustic, Takamine 12 string acoustic, Yamaha electric guitar, Fender fretless bass, Pod XT Live, Roland XP-50, Korg X5DR, Boss DR-670, Boss BR-864, ART Studio V3 Pre-AMP, Kustom & Behringer Amps, & various other bits and pieces.
Anything else...?
Go White Sox!
