This is Pierce One, representing the 709 Prophets and St. Johns, Newfoundland...Basically i'm a 17 year old emcee who had been wack as hell for about a year, but recently i'm starting to elevate and get a little decent on the m-i-c, at least I hope lol....One thing i'll give myself credit for is lyrical ability, I spit a lot of conceptual type tracks and stuff, which i'm hopin some of you heads will feel, so check it out! Do you play live?
My crew has done a couple of live shows now...youth talent show, Evolution's 4 Elements Show, Hotbox's Welcome to Newfoundland Release Party, The Progression at Junctions...Junctions wont let us play anymore though, due to our age, so chances to perform will likely be few and far between over the next couple of years...
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet has changed the overal music industry for the better, because real fans have more access to the obscure acts that don't normally get a lot of props, and will be more inclined to go buy that ish...I'm not feeling the way folks steal though, BUY ALBUMS, use the net as like a free sample...
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Man, that's my dream....Won't ever happen though LOL
