I'm pretty much without a band lately. But whenever I perform with some friends we call it Jace Nuzback and the Neverland Band.
Why this name?
Peter Pan issues.
Do you play live?
Although I love to play live, it doesn't happen often these days. NBC is talking about concert special for me, but we'll see. : )
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think musicians should be paid for their work.
That being said, if record lables would simply start offering hi quality downloads for $1 a song or so, I think the controversy would be over. I think it's a great way for guys like me to share their music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If it were the right deal, yes. I'm really just hoping to be a song writer. I've got quite a few tunes that would be great for certain artists. But I'm not looking to be a rock star anymore.
Band History:
I've been playing guitar for half my life.
I've always liked all kinds of music, but PLAYING 80s and 90s metal is what got me started. As I've matured I've added more country, pop and folk in to my writing. Whatever needs to come out, comes out. Sometimes it's a country balad with religious overtones and sometimes it's a nasty metal song about revenge! Obviously that makes me hard to market as an artist, but it's great for being a song writer!
Your influences?
I got Elvis from my Mom. Johnny Cash from my Grandpa. Led Zeppelin and Ozzy from my step brother and KISS and Queen on my own. A girl friend got me into Garth Brooks. Expect anything and everything.
Favorite spot?
So far the Big Island of Hawaii.
Equipment used:
Fender and Tom Anderson guitars.
Line 6 amps.
Pro Tools and many other things for recording.
Anything else...?
I had no good pictures of myself, so I had to use the one of the man with the huge cock. That's just how my silly brain works.
