An avatar is the embodiment or representative of something, which would mean that this band name means "The embodiment of light." Light in this context means the force of good. I wanted a more positive band name that still sounded cool.

This is a relatively new band, and has not had the opportunity yet to play live, but when we do, it should be a lot of fun.

The internet has allowed many otherwise unknown bands to become very succesful. What results from this is that people are exposed to higher quality music, which in turn improves the quality of music that is being produced (not always though.)

The Scandinavian metal scene is the primary influence on the metal side of my music. The rest of it results from all of the various other kinds of music that I happen to listen. Certainly a notable influence would be the world of video game music, as that is something I am also deeply involved in.
