I've been making beats for over a year now, before that I was messing about with cool edit a bit, right now I'm just tryin to get good at this beat making, and doing my best to make some good music.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I believe that the internet is a blessing as it gets people a lot of exposure, and helps major artists who are getting bootlegged. Cos even if the cd is bootlegged it aint gon reduce ticket sales of tours unless the album is rubbish.

But labels just use it as a scapegoat for poor record sales, which it isnt, most people use it for personal use and those the like what they hear will go buy the album IF they can afford it. If they can't afford the album then in reality the labels aint lost money at all.

But at the same time it does have its downsides.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Very much depend on the deal being offered
Your influences?
Influences are Kanye West, Timbaland, AfriqueDeluxe.
Kanye showed me that beat making wasnt as complex as i thought it was but also that within the simplicity there is a lot of complexity.
Timbalands tracks were always bangin i was never really exposed to hip hop when growing up so have only been listenin for the last couple of years but when i started listenin his beats consistently stood out to me, and i find myself an admirer of his work.
AfriqueDeluxe is a good friend of mine, and before i met him i didnt even know what a producer was. But hes been a good educator n helped me a lot more than he probably realizes.
