Sometime in January
Stafford is the newest alt-rock band on the block, with a sound inspired by groups as diverse as the Forecast and Wilco. We call ourselves indie, because that's our philosophy, but our sound is more than any easy to tag genre.

Do you play live?
Stafford goes on tour this summer, playing around the Midwest in a magic mystery van (we also solve mysteries.)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
we don't.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
if it got more people to hear our music, and we wouldn't have to sell our souls or compromise our music, then we'd consider it
Band History:
Stafford gradually evolved over many years into what we know and love today. You could say Stafford was born when joe john and chad jammed togethor for the first time. Or you could say it started when they finally got AJ in 04. Or maybe it started when we settled on a name and a sound and started playing shows this year. Regardless, we're here, and we've come to rock.
