I create music that conveys a lot of observations, criticism and personal views on society, religion, philosophy and group behavior versus individuality in general. The music style varies from industrial synth rock (goth) to jazz via ambiance. Sometimes instrumental and sometimes not. In short, The music can not be categorized but it can certainly be recognized.
Why this name?
I chose the name because it is a beautiful word to describe something most people fear the most while in my opinion it gives the only peaceful meaning to life.
Do you play live?
No. As I am completely on my own it is pretty hard to do. I hope that some day I will meet some people that will help me on that score.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The Internet reduces the value of major labels by being a free global distribution channel. This enables everybody to distribute their art. The Net more effectively combines and communicates the traits of various subcultures including their artistic expressions. So marketing is less intrusive, more effective and it just happens.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No. If they want to distribute my music through the traditional channels that is fine but I do not like the idea of being owned in that way. Besides I am already signed in my own label.
Your influences?
I started, as a child, to play mostly blues, jazz and latin. Later on I became very much influenced by Jan Hammer and his way to amplify images. Today I have shifted more towards the industrial goth and synth rock scene.I would say that musically Trent Reznor has influenced me a great deal to use synths in rock music. Influences never die and combined with my own creativity the result is yet an other style. I hope to be influenced by many more and to influence others.
Favorite spot?
I have seen so litle of it but until now I would say: Idre and surroundings, Sweden.
