I'm a bassist...i'm in a band but this is my like, personal one, just for stuff that i've made/covered on my own.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think for up and coming new bands who have a mixer and the right equpiment...it's ideal. Get your music out there people! If I got signed by anyone then the internet becomes useless because a real album with the artists input is much better than just a shared file of their work.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hell Yes! The internet is a starting point, a major label is a step up.
Band History:
Got a Bass a year or two ago. Been playing in a band for the past few weeks.
Your influences?
Mike B the Flea is my inspiration for playing bass, he rules that instrument.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Audioslave, Velvet Revolver, Black Sabbath and Guns n' Roses.
