There is a chance that I might scrap “Worm” and simply work on a full length album. I guess I’m liking a number of songs I’ve done for “Worm” separately enough to where I want to make completely separate songs of them. For now though I’ll keep the possible track listing for “Worm” up until I’m sure of my choice.

Working on [set_01]: Worm right now and things have been going as planned. There probably won't be any complete material until early June. This first release will be a single with plenty to offer in terms of varying songs. The only thing holding back for now is the lack of being able to implement vocals on the first track.

Current track listing for Worm
01. Worm
02. Worm: Evolution
03. Worm: Final
04. Worm: Destruction

System Primal will primarily be my industrial outlet. However I’m only using that label as a catchall phrase, my works as I am planning them will vary in style using industrial, groove metal, alternative and perhaps a few other fitting genres. I’m not trying to do anything revolutionary, I’m just trying to do what I enjoy best, make music.

For now there are only small (and need I say, very old) samples. I intend to delete these eventually because they have little bearing on the System Primal name now.
Why this name?
The name “System Primal” just came to be after deciding on a few names. Even after the first few weeks it still sounded “cool” to me so it stuck. It may have a basic meaning behind it; make one up yourself though because I don’t have one for you! And it looks cool this way too! [SP]
Do you play live?
In short, I simply cannot. There are too many limiting factors but the foremost issue is that this is a solo project. Most everything you hear is done with a computer, aside from the vocals and guitar work. In the future if I could find members I think it would be neat to play live, but it’s not really an aspiration for me. Also I would need someone good with the almighty double bass drumming! I try to write out my music realistically (specifically referring to drums), but that doesn’t mean I make it simple.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
This site is a primary example of what the digital medium has allowed us. Previously the only way anyone such as I could get any music of my own creation out would be to give out physical copies of my work. This isn’t entirely a bad thing to do, but it makes it hard to spread beyond a close proximity. Also I really enjoy the fact that I can check out more artists that I really don’t have access to in this town (I’m not far from Houston, but it isn’t everyday I can manage to get there). I just hope I don’t see the physical medium completely replaced by the digital. Jewel cases and more so, digipak for the win!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Even if that were possible, I have my doubts. I really just want to make music; I’m not worried about shows or anything of the sort. Plus, my actual musicianship is not particularly great, I just know how to manage and take advantage of what I have available to me.
Band History:
Yeah, I’m still trying to get this project to the point of having a history!
Your influences?
Meh, I may as well list all I can think of: Alice in Chains, Clan of Xymox, Daft Punk, David Crowder Band, Delerium, Depeche Mode, Fear Factory, Front 242, Front Line Assembly, The Future Sound of London, The Goo Goo Dolls, Jimmy Eat World, KMFDM, Lacuna Coil, Megadeth, Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, Our Lady Peace, Pearl Jam, Primus, The Prodigy, R.E.M., Sister Machine Gun, Skillet, Static X, Type O Negative, and White Zombie
Equipment used:
For the most part I use software; however, I am going to hold on updating this part because there are a few changes to be made. Here is my previous list.

Software:
Image-Line’s FL Studio Producer Edition v5.0
Propellerheads’ Reason v3.0
Cakewalks’s Sonar 4 Producer Edition
Steinberg’s ReBirth One

Hardware and Instruments:
BOSS ME-30 Guitar Multiple Effects
Ibanez RG 220 B
Takamine EG-330C

And just about anything else I can get my hands on, but yes, otherwise it’s just a bunch of miscellaneous stuff.
