This is Eulogium, unblack metal.
Why this name?
Well, I chose this band name 1. Because of the meaning of the word, and 2. Because it sounded rather black metal. "Eulogium" means high praise.
Do you play live?
Eulogium cannot play live. It is solely a solo project, which makes it impossible to perform before an audience.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I believe that the internet has helped thousands of undergroud artists get at least half the recognition they deserve.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Not with a major label, but I would be interested in a smaller label.
Band History:
Eulogium began as the brainchild of Armando Lopez in 2004. Relying on limited equipment, he released his first demo, "A Light in the Darkness," that same summer. Taking the criticism it received, he began work on a full length album entitled "Where Solace Is Mine," which would be released on Son Of Man Records in 2006. Since then, Eulogium's activity has been on and off, inconsistently recording a full length album entitled "The Transcendence of Hope" that's projected to be ready by some time in 2009. From here, the story of Eulogium is yet to unravel.
Your influences?
Immortal, Darkthrone, Burzum, Drudkh, 1349, Antestor, Flaskavsae, Sorrowstorm, Admonish, older Sanctifica, etc.
Equipment used:
One... or two words: GarageBand.
