AlterOne. Positive, negative, sinister, good and evil. Hip Hop on my own tip with production from Cadilakid, Planit and Whatevski.

An Olive Hour artist and executive.

The first official release (over eleventy billion served), will be dropping soon.

As well as being a solo artist, I am currently involved in other group projects, one of which is the Ill Natured Freshmen, dropping summer 2005.
Why this name?
I was given the name by a friend who realized I have alter ego's. It just fits my personality.
Do you play live?
I do live shows on a constant basis, mostly in my hometown, and some around western canada.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It screws over major label artists and fans, yet it provides an alternate avenue for real, unsigned or independant talent to be heard.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No. I've started my own label with a group of people I trust. Why would I sign to a major label that takes well over 50 percent of the income I generate? Why would I want someone to tell me what to do? I wouldn't. If a label offered me full artistic control, and negotiated the profits to my liking, maybe, but that will never happen.
Band History:
I began learning the craft many years ago, and now Im doing albums and rocking shows. A slow progression, but it helps develop the necessary skills.

Your influences?
I'm down with ANY good music in general. Well written, well produced, well composed stuff is what draws me, in any genre of music.

As for my current listening, I would have to say, all the sideroad records artists, the rest of olive hour records artists, touch, epic, soso, kool keith, anticon, eminem, 50 cent, pharohe monch, Saul Williams, ramstein and Keith Urban.
Favorite spot?
I've gotta shout out the hip hop scene in Saskatoon, but my favorite spot is my own city of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Equipment used:
