How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

peer to peer filesharing has completely changed the music industry--and really allows for exposure to a multiplicity of artists that might remain unknown otherwise. also, recordings no longer in circulation by traditional means have a new outlet for exposure. sure, there are copyright infringements, but i feel the good outweighs the bad. that's how artists can get fan bases.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
