Why this name?
It is a stage name, I have had so much fun being Mo' Kauffey. It rolls of the tongue better than Gary Wickizer which is the name I was given at birth.
Do you play live?
I perform anywhere from back porches to festival stages. I like the intimacy of a small crowd and love the energy of a big one.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has opened alot of possibilities, your music could be heard anywhere.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
maybe
Band History:

Your influences?
Holey Moley where do I start? Ledbelly, Lightnin' Hopkins, Willie Dixon, Hendrix, J.J. Cale, Beatles, Moody Blues, Hoyt Axton, John Prine and Bob Dylan. Did I forget Roger Miller and Van Morrison?
Favorite spot?
A little place called "Valley View Hot Springs" in Colorado.
Equipment used:
My guitar is a late 30's Silvertone Archtop that has been hot rodded and modified by "Wild Bill" Riegel. My favorite amp is about a '65 Black front Princeton reverb........Fender, of course. I use D'Addario EX115W strings with a wound G.
Anything else...?
