One of the Fonders of the Wolfpak. Gqs' been rhyming for years. You can tell by his flow on a beat that he crafted his skill wit ease. Not only is Gq an ill MC, He has a way with crafting a beat like no other. Hot lyrics, Dope beats,what more can a hip-hop fan ask for? Gq Da Headhunta is definitly one of the top choices and judging by the music, who would disagree?
Why this name?
I Started out in one of those groups like the Gravediggas. We were called Legion of Doom and my alias was Headhunta. After that era slowed down i used my intials backwards for the Gq and added the Headhunta. Its Like a personality thing too When i'm on that hard, hurt a cat, battle rap its headhunta. When i'm just on the flow tip Its Gq all the way.
Do you play live?
Everychance I get. Me and the Been rockin shows from Ct, Va, And ATL.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It helps give exposure to more underground MC's.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yea definitly. Gotta read that contract though. I'm not gonna sell my soul for that exposure.
Your influences?
I like Nas, Talib Kwelli, Mos Def ,Eminem ,Jay-Z, theres alot more but can't list them all.
Favorite spot?
It has to be VA as of now. I didn't go everywhere yet.
