Trespeso Music stands strong at the fore front of representing Cuban Reggaeton - Hip Hop - Urban with the bulk of Artists based in Stgo De Cuba, currently there are over 30 artists/groups signed to the label than runs like a family Business... Unfortunately not all represented on soundclick.

Buena Pistas Social Club is the 1st Official compilation featuring a Variety of Artists from the extended Trespeso family, It is an exotic, organic Cuban REGGAETON mix that’s often described as PORNOGRAPHICA Till now the sweaty rhythms fermenting in the Orient of Cuba have been little known & seldom heard.

Produced in Santiago de CUBA featuring 10 of the hottest emerging clandestine Reggaeton artists from this isolated island, includes 21 calibrated tracks, resourcefull crafted in the ghettos of Cuba.

Why this name?
In Cuba, three pesos....said like "tre-peso" is nothing, but also something, many little things can be bought for Trespeso, 8 Ciggaros, Crema de Mani, Traige de ron, 3 puros many things....
it's about making a little bit go a long way it pushing 5 years now & we done just that. We survive, We aspire, We deserve...
trespeso Que Vola ?
Do you play live?
When permitted to play it happens in various Locations in various provinces, usually with lots of techical issues as most equip is antique.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives us the only edge we need co'z we got talent, and we got the web to push, distro & have peoples peep our music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Like a Major Label has got balls to address the injustice of the Embargo, ha ha ha maybe a subsidury label, but we need to pour finances back it to our Hip hop communities here in Cuba, giving our peoples access to the equip. not feed some fat machine in an overcapitalised world. Naywayz we kinda signed for sync lic. with a string of placements in shows like-Just Jordan-King of Queens- & the new series Burn Notice !!!
Band History:
This is an Evolution, trespeso is evolving. All the groups bare their own scars and their own history. The struggle has been relentless and dates back to the first Hip Hop, Breakdance & Beatbox cliques in Cuba, back in the day when you were arrested for looking like a Hip Hop ganster from the USA, at last things are a little different now but still caution is employed
still a major struggle. But "No para por nada"
Your influences?
All things Latin, Afro Cuban, Hip Hop from USA is a big influence but musically not so much lyrically thats always 100% Cubania, all things Panamanian & Puerto Rican co'z thats like the sister Island to Cuba, whats big here ?
Tego Calderon, Beeny Man, Daddy Yanky, Luny Tunes, El Generali, I could go on. Many things we don't have access to a lot of things, for obvious reasons so our influence is raw, kinda like "a when we can get it influence" This situation is totally Unique to Cuba making our music very unique...
Favorite spot?
Where ever they are playing the good beats.
Equipment used:
Old pentiums with dodgy little PC mic's running Audio Programs like Reason, Cubase & Fruity loops. Como Cubano's Inveto eh!!!
Anything else...?
Hip Hop & Reggaeton is the NEW Revolution in Cuba, without the bling or the technology we struggle to validate our style of MUSIC, it's raw talent & pure passion as they flow with the HARD REALITY of their daily existence,,, This is what Hip Hop used to be, so let the wpords be heard, Trespeso Que Vola ?
