We're a 4 piece nu-metal band from Hampshire. We play a contrasting mixture of fast aggressive songs, similar to KoRn or Amen, and slow mellow songs similar to the Goo Goo Dolls. We play music to tell other people things, we don't want to just be another cloned band, we want to be unique.

Band History:
The core of Nothing But Numbers was formed mid 2000, but the band existed in other forms up to 2 years beforehand. The original line up consisted of Martin Coote on guitar/vocals and Alex Petersen on bass. The long standing ambition to be in a band inspired the two to begin practicing together, but they mostly did covers. The over zelous need to play led the two to performing a gig in London with no drummer. Yes it was shit, but the consolation was they didn't get booed offstage. After much punk-inspired happy crap e.g. 'hey' (shudder) the two had a major re-think and began to get organised. At first they swapped instruments, then Martin returned to his drumming roots, Alex learnt guitar properly and newcomer Joe became the bands bassist. The three became interested in the emerging singing talents of a close friend, Phil Kerrison. After a turbulent start the band started writing songs.
