As reported by the press Lowensa has been working with top London producer Colin Emmanuel. Colin, best known for his work with pop sensations Jamelia, Estelle & Beverly Knight, has produced all three of Lowensa's tracks featured on this site. "Timing", "You" and " Lovely Love" were chosen by Colin to highlight Lowensa's gift for song-writing. Her emotive melodies and clever turn of phrase sit comfortably with Emmanuel's beats, making music with mainstream appeal that is pricking up the ears of the industry and securing her excellent reviews.
Why this name?
LOWENSA is Native American for "singer", at a time when I needed an answer I found it.
Do you play live?
I play live as often as I can, currently with my working with producers I perform in nightclubs and on-air as well as at music venues.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The web is the new land of opportunity.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would, they still have the lions share of profile!
Band History:
Lowensa’s singing/song writing career began in 1999 after previous incarnations as a dancer, actress, and entrepreneur.
A superb live performer Lowensa commands every audience; her largest to date being a capacity crowd at Tranmere Rovers Football Club.
As charismatic a personality in conversation as she is in performance, Lowensa has been a hit on many radio shows; Billy Butler on BBC Radio Merseyside had callers asking why the demo of “Lovely Love” wasn’t on sale in the shops. Other radio coups include The Bay FM, BBC Radio Cumbria, and Lakeland Radio FM.
Before going solo Lowensa fronted a five piece band and enjoyed success at club level. The band were regulars to such clubs as The Cavern (Liverpool), The Night & Day (Manchester), The Wigan Collective and played the Kashmir Klub in London.

Your influences?
My life to date is my great inspiration, music that makes you want to move; other artists? Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Mammas & Papas, I enjoy soul, rnb, and guitar bands but it has to have a great beat.
Favorite spot?
The Cinema, I love the movies.
