Shannon Cole is a singer/songwriter who is pushing the boundaries of the pop/rock genre by combining old school rock with more contemporary elements of punk, alternative and even blues.
Why this name?

Shannon plays live very frequently at various venues. Higlights include The Trocadero in Philadelphia, PA, The Pufferbelly Bar in Lindenwold, NJ, McDonnell's Bar in Laurel Springs, NJ and Baron's Steakhouse in Clementon, NJ.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes it so much easier to get your music out to a wider audience. It gives listeners a much larger selection of music to choose from rather than have to listen only to what is being marketed on mainstream radio.

Yes.
Band History:
Shannon Cole began working with Joe Caliva (her producer/guitarist and band leader) in the summer of 2004. She immediately began recording her original music that she wrote with Caliva in his studio, with Cole providing all the vocal tracks and Caliva providing all instrumental tracks. Not long afterwards, Cole was frequently asked to perform live. Her backup band, SING NO EVIL was formed by the end of that summer to peroform at Cole's live gigs. After several personnel changes, the band currently consists of Joe Caliva (rhythm guitar/keys), Jason Wright (lead guitar), Curt Elliot (Bass) and Jonathan Williams (drums).
