I present to you some of my musical thoughts. Some of these thougths, such as "The Way" are over 15 years old. I've always said - "one day I'm going to do something with these thoughts." Well, here they are.
Why this name?
JP Banks, Jr. is a great band name isn't it!? To bad I didn't come up with it myself.
Do you play live?
All the time. Playing for other people is what being a musician is all about in my opinion. Don't keep all that good stuff to yourself.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it gives everyone a chance to be heard. I've enjoyed listening to various artist here at Soundclick. This wouldn't be possible without the Internet and formats such as MP3.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends. I wouldn't want to get ropped into doing something I didn't like. But isn't it every musician's dream to be a signed artist?
Band History:
Me, myself, and I got together and just started recording take, after take, after take - I think you get the picture.

I'm a saxophonist, so coming up with the other parts was challenging at times. All the instruments are perfomed by me.

It would be nice to actully put a 'Band' history here one day. Who knows.
Your influences?
Grover Washington, Jr., Kirk Whalum, David Sanborn, Chick Corea
