Hi! My name is Mini Ilagan Ware. The band is just me as vocalist and my cousin Rey Bisnar who is the gifted musician.
Why this name?
The B stands for Bisnar and W stands for Ware. It's BW Sounds of Praise because we lift our God on high through our worship and praises! This is also the site where I could share my composition(s) and Rey's arrangement(s) in music.
Do you play live?
Yes, at church and when invited on special occasions.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's awesome. It's just like the scenario of sending the astronauts to the moon. It's very speedy!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
The good Lord willing, yes!
Band History:
While in the Philippines in 1970, I composed a song entitled "Love Unmeasured", it was not put in CD but Rey also wrote and arranged the music. This year I composed another song entitled "It's Only You", it's copyrighted and put in a CD and Rey arranged and orchestrated it.
Your influences?
The Gaithers, Blackwood Brothers, Dottie Rambo, Sandy Patti,Amy Grant, Carman, Whitney Houston & praise & worhsip styles.
Favorite spot?
My place, Ko' Olina meaning "City of Joy", a place with beautiful man made 4 lagoons and green golf course.
Equipment used:
I'm not that great like my cousin Rey but I play piano/keyboard, ukelele, guitar & organ.
