DeadraveN's music ranges from soft piano melodies with spoken lyrics to harder industrial sounds, and just about anything in between. The music is an expression of different states of mind and being, as well as just an outlet for creative energies.
Why this name?
It is a reference to an allegory, and no I don't mean that poem...
Do you play live?
No. As of now, DeadraveN music is only available online.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet makes it easier to hear a greater variety of music, and decide for ourselves what we like. The days of the radio DJ's telling us what's "cool" are coming to an end...
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Eh, maybe...
Band History:
DeadraveN is an attempt to escape the murk and mire of the modern music industry. The purpose of this music is two-fold; first, to offer an alternative to the bubble-gum pop and mallcore "metal" that seem to saturate the airways, and second, to express a balance between negative and postive energies in musical form. DeadraveN has been creating music for several years now, and is currently residing in Seattle. Please feel free to contact DeadraveN with any comments or questions by emailing ddmfnrvn@yahoo.com
