Why this name?
And So They Went was chosen because we felt that playing music is our "call," and the band is our response.
Do you play live?
YES!! We usually play in the Pacific Northwest area, and yes we like it!! Playing live is so much more satisfying than simply selling records. It's not always so much about the money.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the mp3 allows people access to more music than before, as well as allowing bands to put their product out for more people.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure
Band History:
And So They Went is the collaborative project of three University of Oregon students. The purpose behind the band is simple, use music to carry a message while maintaining a high degree of originality and musicianship.
