Texas is the Coalition is a good old fashioned rock band who will tug on your heart strings by the time your done, whether playing a ballad or a shout along scream fest yelling at all those who have managed to piss you off.
Why this name?
A "you had to be there moment". Everythings big in Texas!
Do you play live?

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The fact you can get people to listen to your music all the way across the world when you don't have that much coverage at home is great!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hell yeah.
Band History:
"Texas is" started about a year ago as a dream shared by two guys, to start a band and create great music together. The first thing they did was go on an insane search for a bassist and they found the best and nicest bassist on the planet, Paul. (Paul has a special technique that Jack has named "Paul F***ing About" where he literally f*** about with a bassline.)

After they signed Paul on, they went on an even more insane search for a drummer and they went through many until they found a perfect match with Josh. Soon they were playing whatever and whenever. Crazy boys.
Your influences?
Open Hand, Brand New, Queens of the Stone Age, Thursday, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, My Chemical Romance, The Used, Audioslave, Ramones, The Get Up Kids, Taking Back Sunday, Nirvana.
Favorite spot?
Toulouse because it's home.
Equipment used:
Pretty sh*** stuff.
Anything else...?
Monkeys are cool.

Oh yeah. If you have myspace please add us!
