I am using this page as a record of my musical history over the past 18 years, or so.
Why this name?
It sounded good.
Do you play live?
I am currently involved with a couple of projects including: Shrimpanzee (soundclick page), Trick of Shadow, Pet Minotaur and my solo stuff.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Artists are not necessarily slaves to the idea of capitalism. Meaning that you can pretty much express yourself anyway you desire without compromising your style to satisfy a worn-out, tired record promoter format.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure.
Band History:
Some of the songs that I am uploading are from projects in my past. I have played with many musicians and this page is a sound-history of sorts.
Bands and projects include:
Frankenhead
Gear Pigs
Blake Chen and the Haunted Hearts
Nefarious
Shrimpanzee
Trick of Shadow
Pet Minotaur
Nomeus
Ugly Radio Rebellion
Jiggajoe
Amelia Haircut
as well as other no-named songs and projects with other musicians and brothers of sound.
