In New York, Allison can be found at such venues as Rockwood Music Hall and Googie's Lounge at the Living Room. She also tours extensively along the East Coast and throughout the Midwest.

When I was growing up, I listened to lots of classic rock: Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, early Genesis, and I still really enjoy that stuff. I'm also very influenced by the whole female singer-songwriter movement, people like Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, Bjork, Tori Amos, Ani Difranco, PJ Harvey, Tracy Chapman. I also love jazz and singers like Nina Simone, Dinah Washington and Sarah Vaughan. I'm a classically trained pianist, so that finds its way in there too.
