Watz crackin' hip-hop headz. Itz ya boi JaBz. I am so tired of watz goin' on in music today. I look back at wat hip-hop used to be and I look at it now and it fills me with anger. The pioneers of rap had no idea it was gonna be this way. So I feel it's time for the new generation of music to take it back to it's former glory. I am the voice of the slums. Listen up. ALL TRACKS AND BEATS PRODUCED BY DOCTOR STRANGE!
Why this name?
I been boxin' since 12. I developed my hand skills in the various projects of Queens and Brookyln.
Do you play live?
I do live shows at various colleges and clubs.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet changes music alot. I mean catz got no excuse to be wack no more. Cause there is access to hip-hop at ya figure tips.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If I had the liberty of makin' my music my way, with my team of people, then yeah. But if my homies ain't gonna shine wit' me then I ain't wit' it.
Band History:
I started rappin' when I was in about 10th grade. I was about 15 at the time. My first rhyme had no structure to it. I didn't even write to a beat. I was off and on until about 2003-04. I make music for everyone. I make music for you to relate too more so then to dance too. I am currently with a group by the name of My$tery. That's my team. Shout outs to my homie Tha Saint, Jaynyse, Quay-C, Lyrical, Franni Lou (a.k.a. "Lady My$tery") my NGP homies, Strange, my 1-5 sex homies (115 ave!), O.V. (Far Rock!) and my son Yung Norm. We makin' music that the streetz gonna feel! COUSIN PAT COME HOME!
Your influences?
One of my greatest musically influences would have to be Styles P and all of D-block. I like the because a lot of rap is fake nowadays. But Styles is as real as it gets. He don't sell much but that's cause he ain't tryin'a sell his soul like other rappers, dancin' and singin' and sh*t.
