Greetings! Let me introduce myself....I am a middle-aged (whatever that means now!),mother of 5 and married to a wonderful man. I love to write and sing about the wonderful things that God has done and is doing for us, His children. I also enjoy writing worship songs to aid in bringing others into a deeper relationship with Jesus. I hope you like these songs as well.
Why this name?
How did I choose the name "Heather"? Well my name is Heather and I love hearing harmonies and strive to live in harmony with all.
Do you play live?
Most of my performing has been in church, but also at outdoor performances with a church group. One memorable time was when we were all set up in a local park and had no power! We were ready to start praying for some heavenly power from on high when finally the power was turned on.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I feel that the internet has opened up so many doors to people such as I who would otherwise have had no way to allow others to hear our songs.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If that miracle ever occured....sure!
Band History:
I have been singing and playing piano since I was 5 years old. I have been writing songs for only about one year now. I was born and raised in Michigan as a Preacher's kid!
Your influences?
I have been influenced greatly by such artists as Twila Paris, M.W. Smith, and the Gaithers.
Favorite spot?
My favorite spot is Crisp Point Lighthouse in Northern Michigan.
Equipment used:
I use a Yamaha Keyboard for music and record with Audacity Software (free for use at http://www.audacity.com )
