One of the messages erased was important but I can not rember the name or person who sent it so pleas call again...And I apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet helps a lot of good artist promote their music. It helps the music industry a lot because without the internet, many good artist today would go unheard.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes I would, after looking over the contract extensively of course. I'm not trying to sign my life over to nobody.
Band History:
I've been rapping since I was 14 years old. I helped start The Shadows In The Dark group back in 1997. The group had members that came and went over the years until 2003 when Qardan, Tha Advocate, Krystal, Kai Blax, Young Holla, and Poetic formed a deadly combination that was heard through out the united states. In the summer of 2004, the group split, which lead to me (Qardan) and the Advocate branching off as "Tha Advocate and Qardan". Four months into working our project The Advocate and Qardan split for various reasons. Now in 2005 I'm working on my solo project which will feature other artist including some of my old Shadow In The Dark click.
Your influences?
I grew up listening to hip hop. I've always been a Nas fan to the fullest. Jay Z, Biggy, 2 Pac, Wu-tang (R.I.P Ol-Dirty Bastard), The Lox, G-unit, Eminem, Tribe Called Quest, Busta-Rhymes, The Roots, Big pun, Big L, LL........the list goes on and on.
Favorite spot?
I was born and raised in Newburgh so there is no place like home, but I also like going up to Buffalo to see my pops.
