I had a hard time with the name. Since I do it all myself, mixing, writing, composing, all the programming and instrumentation, I thought hey every track is a project hence The David Michael Project.

The internet and MP3 technology is a great tool for independent artist. It gives us a venue and I chance to be heard like never before..

Only if that label offered me the right opportunity. Promotion is the key. The eal means nothing if I am not heard.

I started in music at the old age of five!! Started playing guitar, later on became a DJ. Went through a nasty divorce and stopped playing for many, many years. Then one day, I stumbled across electronica and found an outlet for all the noise in my head that has never left me. I bought a keyboard, more equipment and the rest is history yet to be told.

My taste vary from the likes of LTJ Bukem, Maxwell, Bjork, DJ Blame, Erika Badou, Marvin Gaye, to the late great Chairman of the Board Frank Sinatra.

I am from Chicago but I LOVE NY. I also lived in south Florida and have to give props to MIAMI!!

For keys I have a Yamaha S03. Monitors are the Events TR5, Software is Reason and Cubase with tons and tons of VSTs.
