Presenting Twelve Minus One: discipleship through music. 12-1 is the equivalent of the original apostles minus Judas. Based on Heaven's principals, there is no place for a Judas in the kingdom and that same standard is maintained amongst these cats.
The camp is composed of a variety of independent artists, producers, deejays, engineers, music consultants and a web developer. Spearheaded by JB aka JonathanthesonofSaul and Young Ray, this is not your typical group; it's a movement and the people being presented before you are merely representatives of a movement that spreads well beyond this group. It's a movement composed of people that aren't perfect, but willing vessels that will not compromise the Gospel, and won't forsake ministry for personal gain. This assures listeners the message isn't compromised for the benefit of a quality sound.

Why this name?
This name was given to the movement after praying about a name that would speak volumes about the ministry itself.
Do you play live?
Artists within Twelve Minus One are located in several different states and perform all over the U.S.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has opened tremendous opportunity for us to spread the Gospel.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Under the right circumstances, yes.
Band History:
Birthed out of a desire for quality christian music without compromise, 12-1's purpose was to link various artists to the movement. The name "NO JUDAS" was discontinued in an effort to discredit schism that was being put in the atmosphere against the ministry by various Judas-types, but the mission of "no compromise" remains the same.
The vision of the camp is a detailed, but focused effort. This camp will allow the artists involved a platform to promote their products via radio, internet, magazines, and beyond. The camp is and will be involved in street witnessing and community service with an emphasis on spiritual development. This hardly will forsake the artists' individual growth as coaching sessions will be available on a month to month basis that will assist in the development of various giftings being administered through the music. "We don't wanna just sound good, we want to effectively minister to sinners and saints with the intent of sewing the word of The Lord into their lives. Our prayer is that the effectiveness of our ministry will be evident in product sales and a true reflection of the house of God that we represent" says JB.
As of September 2004, Twelve Minus One became the midwest spokespersons for JIREH FASHIONS, a urban christian clothing company based out of Pittsburg, PA. To visit the 12-1 site during construction, please go to www.nojudas.com.
As of April 2005 the camp of 12-1 is pleased to announce the addition of J and A productions to the family! J and A productions consists of web site development, music production as well as their own internet radio station (717 radio). Their resume' includes website development for Gospel Truth Magazine, Jireh Fashions, 717 Radio to name a few. Production credits from Pasta Beatz of J & A include tracks for Jonathan the "Son of Saul" and Lyrical Prose among others. The radio station includes an impressive lineup of deejays including DJ I ROCK JESUS, DJ Zorro and J Blaze.
Effective May 1, 2005, it gives 12-1 great pleasure to announce that Pathway Records ceo and founder Al "Hot Mix" Holmes has joined up with the camp in an effort to further the ministry efforts that are going forth. Pathway Records not only offers artists an opportunity to link up with the label, but they provide engineering, professional deejay services, audio mastering, and more! Artists that have worked with Pathway Records include Damon Lamar, Nick Snipes, Young Ray, JB aka "Son of Saul", Dana Divine, and many others including the artists of Twelve Minus One. Pathway Records has been involved in the Christian community as well as the Holy hip hop movement for several years and has done a lot of "behind the scenes" work in the body and will continue to do so.
