Actually, our guitarist saw it on a car vanity plate a few years back. He thought it would be a cool name for a band. Sorry fellas, it has nothing to do with the Tennessee Tuxedo cartoon - alot of people seemed to be dissapointed by that.

Yes, we play live! We play venues all around Florida. We're hoping to branch out of the state sometime very soon.

I think it really gives the independent bands a chance to get their music out. We have yet to play outside of Florida, but we receive emails from all over the US and out of country. That never would happen with out the internet.

Chumley’s Toy began their unique musical vision in late 2000. With their original and unusual mélange of passionate guitars, unbreakable rhythm & groove, and forcefully driving melodies, Chumley’s Toy introduced a sound to the Tampa area music scene that audiences and fans eagerly embraced. Although Chumley’s Toy is located in the Florida area, the “buzz” surrounding the band has transcended the local and grown enormously.

Chumley’s Toy has gained a great amount of exposure through their regular show schedule, and have been fortunate to open for many national recording artists.

The band has obtained national endorsement deals with microphone giant EV (www.electro-voice.com), ESP Guitars (www.espguitars.com), and Attack Drum Heads (www.attackdrumheads.com). The band has also recently inked a production deal with RoninMusic Productions, LLC (www.roninmusic.com) towards the recently completed and released full length Chumley’s Toy debut album.
